Currently, the NEV penetration rate in commercial vehicle market is only 8%, and the rate in heavy-duty trucks is less than 5%. According to authoritative predictions, by 2030, the market penetration rates of new energy CVs and HDTs in China would both reach about 30%, while the target for European new energy HDTs is 40%-50%. There is great potential for low-carbon and energy-saving technology development of commercial vehicles.

The 3rd TMC forum on low-carbon & energy-saving CV powertrain technologies will be held in July 4-5, together with 16th Automotive powertrain technology congress (TMC2024). The forum will discuss HEV, BEV, FCEV and zero-carbon fuel technology routes, innovative technologies, and best engineering practices for different application scenarios, which include long-haul, urban logistics, sanitation and construction, as well as mines and ports, etc.

It is expected that 300-400 professionals will be invited from related industry institutions and universities, and companies specialized in vehicle, engine, drive system, e-motor, inverter, transmission, component, lubrication and material and engineering.
